It was founded when the Parliament of India passed the Life Insurance of India Act that nationalised the insurance industry in India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Few of its objectives are to Maximize mobilization of people&#8217;s savings by making insurance-linked savings adequately attractive; Act as trustees of the insured public in their individual and collective capacities; and Conduct business with utmost economy and with the full realization that the moneys belong to the policyholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">LIC Logo is made up of a flame that signifies life and the protective hands of life insurance that ensure its continuance.
