The Consortium for Educational Communication (CEC), formed in 1956, is one of the commissions of India, which has been established with the objective to deal with the need of higher education through the medium of television, along with appropriate use of the Information and Communications Technology (ICT).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CEC aims to coordinate, determine and maintain standards of the University Education. The motto of CEC is \u091c\u094d\u091e\u093e\u0928 \u0935\u093f\u091c\u094d\u091e\u093e\u0928\u0902 \u0935\u093f\u092e\u0941\u0915\u094d\u0924\u092f\u0947, which means knowledge liberates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The CEC Logo is a brandmark comprising of several graphics tied together tightly. The Logo has text and typeface in bilingual form.
