UPI is based on the Immediate Payment Service (IMPS) platform, which offers better security than other payment methods wherein details like credit card numbers etc., are sent. While using UPI, only a Virtual Payment Address (VPA) is used, whereas all the other details remain hidden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is safe as the customers share only the virtual address and provide no other sensitive information.
