Operational under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Standardisation Testing and Quality Certification (STQC) Directorate provides quality assurance services in the area of Electronics and IT. Comprising of laboratories and centres spread across the country, the organisation offers services such as Testing, Calibration, IT & e-Governance, Training and Certification to public and private organisations.

The STQC is an Iconic Logo type comprising of different elements such as text and brand mark. The enlarged “Q” letter represents the brand mark which is an integral element of STQC i.e., “Quality”. Another important aspect of the Logo that highlights “Quality” is a phrase of Sanskrit, written in Devanagari script, which implies “Quality is Prosperity”. The Logo is in 2 different shades of Blue colour and usage of white for textual matter making it accessible for a colour blind person as well.
