The National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) is a Public Private Partnership (PPP) Company set up by the Ministry of Finance, with a vision to speed up the skills landscape in India and also to develop certain appropriate models to enhance, support and coordinate private sector initiatives. A not-for-profit public limited company incorporated on 31st July 2008, under section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956, NSDC aims to work considerably for the overall target of skilling up of people in India, mainly by encouraging private sector initiatives in skill development programmes and providing funding. 

The NSDC Logo depicts three human figures, along with the tagline of NSDC i.e., “Transforming the Skill Landscape”.
