Founded in 2007, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) is a branch of the Government of India and an apex body for the formulation and administration of rules, regulations and laws related to micro, small and medium enterprises in India. The Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (M/o MSME) envisions a vibrant MSME sector by promoting growth and development of the MSME Sector, including Khadi, Village and Coir Industries, in cooperation with the concerned Ministries/ Departments, State Governments and other Stakeholders, through providing support to existing enterprises and encouraging creation of new enterprises.

MSME Logo has a National Emblem of India at the centre that highlights government identity. The Emblem is surrounded by typeface in English and Hindi. Hindi typeface “सूक्ष्म, लघु और मध्यम उद्यम” is written using Devanagari script.
