Acting as a first point of reference for investors in India, Invest India is a non-profit venture formed in 2009, under the aegis of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. The agency aims at sector-specific investor targeting and development of partnerships, thereby channelising sustainable investments in the country. The agency is also engaged into developing partnerships with investment promotion agencies and multilateral organisations.

The Invest India Logo shows the agency name in capital letters, which is followed by a tagline representing the nature of the agency.
