Owned by the Government of India, Indian Oil Corporation Limited is an oil and gas company headquartered in New Delhi and accounts for nearly half of India’s petroleum products. It also owns and operates 11 of India’s 23 refineries, with a combined refining capacity of 80.7 million metric tonnes per annum (MMTPA).
The IndianOil Indane LPG cooking gas reaches right up to the doorsteps of 14.8 crore households through a network of about 12,000 distributors. IndianOil has a wide network of over 50,000 customer touch-points, surmounting the challenges of tough terrain, climate and accessibility. This includes 27,700+ fuel stations (petrol pumps), with over 8,000 Kisan Seva Kendra (KSK) outlets.
The IndianOil Logo has a saffron coloured circle, enclosed by a white coloured and a dark blue coloured outer ring. The middle part has a dark blue coloured strip that mentions the name IndianOil in Devanagari script. The saffron circle represents energy as a derivative of the Sun, connoting life and the future. The dark blue outer ring and the horizontal strip inside symbolize technology for harnessing this energy.
