Envisioning the transformation of India to a digitally empowered nation in the field of technology, Digital India is a humungous campaign launched by the Government of India to ensure the government’s services are made available to citizens electronically. This involves augmenting e-Governance services by improving online infrastructure and increasing Internet connectivity.

The logo was designed by an individual whose name is Rana Bhowmik. The concept behind designing of Digital India mission was to represent the new generation, reflect the speed of the digital era and the flavor of India. The logo successfully combines D and I with the colors of the National Flag.
