To measure the impact of various e-governance initiatives at national and state levels, a public service portal eTaal was developed by NIC. It provides a collective view of eTransactions performed through e-Governance applications implemented including, but not limited to, the national-level mission mode projects (MMPs) under the National e-Governance Plan (NeGP).

eTaal facilitates quick analysis of eTransaction data shared by various applications in tabular as well as graphical from enabling the user to drill down to the lowest possible level. eTaal addresses the qualitative aspects of service delivery, and follows a concept of “QUANTILITY”, which means “QUANTIty” with “quaLITY”.

The Logo for eTaal comprises of typographic elements to express the name of the organization.
